I have recently returned to the Empty Square thread in my work. The Empty Square is the barest square on the Ordnance Survey maps of England.
The only cartographical feature is a line of pylons.
In July 2022 I went back there and took some photographs looking across it. From those, I made there three small paintings (20cm x 40cm – Acrylic on board)
