As part of my Watermarks project I created a short film based on 3 barge journeys I took on 6th, 7th and 8th October 2023.
The footage was taken on an iPhone, handheld whilst standing on the bow of the barge. It was only after I was asked to talk at a Wakefield Waterfront Development meeting that I thought the footage might be useful. The talk was about the Watermarks project and the use of waterways for health and well-being purposes. Viewing the edited-together footage proved to be a relaxing activity so I thought I would show this instead of talking too much.
