In May 2014 I worked with over 200 people from Barnsley to create the Barnsley Peloton for the Transpennine Cycle Trail.
These photographs are from exhibitions around the final installation at Alhambra Shopping Centre, The Hepworth Wakefield and Barnsley Precinct.
The cyclists were made out of new aluminium and the bases from reclaimed railway sleepers, repurposing them as the roadway for the peloton.
