At the start of 2026, I was commissioned by 3 Wakefield District Ward Councillors to produce 4 artworks for proposed street signs to mark the entrances to 4 areas of Wakefield East Ward.
I consulted with local groups as to what they would like featured on each of the signs.
I was quite pleased with these draft results, but changes in local government meant that the project wasn’t developed any further, which is a shame.
